Call Gordon Pro Tree Service now so we can come and inspect your trees to make sure they are healthy enough and sturdy enough to be incorporated into your family’s summer fun. We will inspect all of the trees in your yard to make sure they are flourishing and are not diseased or dying. We can also prune the trees so they continue to grow in the perfect shape. Here are some ways you can incorporate trees into your summer outdoor activities.
Turn on the sprinklers and get ready to play a classic. Think back to your time in grade school and remember playing red rover. Designate a tree on each side of the yard as the home space. Then, put half of the family in front of one tree and half of the family in front of the other tree. Call out the family member you want to try to break through your hands. Then, have them run through the sprinklers to get to the other side. Another game you can play in the sprinklers is tag and you can use the trees as safe spaces.
It’s also time for your annual super-soaker throwdown. Fill the super soaker guns and get ready to take out your opponents. Each family member it’s a tree as his or her fort. When they are at their tree, they are considered safe. Run around the yard trying to douse each other with water to determine who is the final person standing. Another way to use the trees in this game is to climb up a sturdy one and get your opponents from above.
You can also have a tree-climbing contest between the adults and older kids. This would not be a good game for the little ones. Pick the sturdiest tree in the yard and see who can climate the fastest. The winner gets a prize or has to take everyone else out for ice cream. Make sure the tree that you choose is one that can be climbed safely and easily.
Finally, you can once again designate trees as forts or safe spaces and have a water balloon fight. This is not a good game for toddlers as the balloons will sting when they hit them. Have this game between you and your older kids to see who is the last person standing.
Again, call Gordon Pro Tree Service in Buford, GA, today to schedule a tree inspection appointment so we can make sure all of your trees are happy and healthy.
